Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G

The Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G is a large, powerful 12.1-inch tablet that stands out above all for its impressive display, huge battery and genuine 5G connectivity. It is aimed at pupils, students, professionals and anyone looking for a versatile tablet for multimedia, productive work and mobile browsing – even on the go without Wi-Fi.

The 12.1-inch 2.5K IPS LCD display with 2560 × 1600 pixels at 249 ppi, a 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 600 nits brightness and a 16:10 aspect ratio delivers a generous, pin-sharp picture – ideal for films, videos, presentations and reading documents. Dolby Vision, DC dimming and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification ensure true-to-life colours that are easy on the eyes, even during long sessions. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 additionally protects the display against scratches.

The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, which handles smooth multitasking, seamless streaming and more demanding apps with ease. With up to 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB internal storage – expandable via microSD card up to 2 TB – there is enough performance and space for every requirement.

The absolute highlight is the 12,000 mAh battery – one of the largest in a tablet of this class. With normal use it lasts for several days, making the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G the ideal companion for long journeys, everyday school life or extended work sessions without a socket nearby. With 33W fast charging, the battery is fully recharged in around 3 hours.

Sound comes from the quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, which delivers a surprisingly full, spatial sound despite the slim design – perfect for films, music and video conferences. The 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and the 8 MP front camera reliably cover document scans, occasional photos and video calls.

The integrated 5G connectivity with eSIM support makes the tablet completely independent of Wi-Fi networks – fast mobile internet is available anytime, anywhere. On top of that, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 provide ultra-fast wireless connections. The high-quality aluminium housing, just 7.5 mm thin and weighing 600 g, conveys a sense of quality far above its price level. Google Gemini and Circle to Search are built in. Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 comes pre-installed.
